Courses

Fixed-length and flexible courses to suit your schedule and budget.

Select your level:

Drums are incredibly rewarding and fun to play. It is not as hard as you might think to get started. We’ll get you playing your first drum beat during your first lesson and you’ll be familiar with the drum kit in no time.

If you have played drums before but you feel the need to brush up on your skills you are in the right place. In your first lesson we’ll assess where you’re currently at and discuss your aims going forwards with drumming.

Advanced-level players can benefit from specialist drum lessons, focussing on developing technical skills, plus performance and musicality training. Ideal if you need to get back in shape after a bit of time off from drumming.

It all begins with an introductory lesson.

Choose a ‘Give It A Go’ Taster lesson to see what drumming is all about (recommended for beginners) and receive a £20 discount. Or, if you commit to one of our courses your introductory lesson is included free (one month minimum commitment required in order to get the free lesson).

How does it work?

Our flexible course (the Drum Pass) is for members. You pay a small monthly fee to be a member which spreads the cost of your tuition and gives access to our best hourly rate for lessons. You also receive loads of additional member perks and freebies.

How many lessons per month?

This is a flexible course, so you can take as many lessons as you like. It is recommended that you take one lesson per week (usually 4 lessons per month) to maintain progress. The course provides the flexibility to take lessons to suit your schedule, whilst maintaining control of how much you want to spend.

Who is it for?

The Drum Pass is ideal for anyone learning drums as a hobby, or students wanting a flexible open-access course. Your monthly membership enables you to book lessons at a reduced rate and pay-as-you-go, so you can take as many lessons as you need for as long as you want to.

Explain the 40% discount?

The normal full price of a 1-hour drum lesson is £45. For members it’s reduced to only £30 per hour (a one-third saving) AND every 10th lesson is free for members (in other words, after 9 lessons you’ll get the 10th free). This extra 10% discount is to reward your commitment to on-going lessons.

How do I pay for this?

The monthly membership is paid as a subscription billed to a credit/debit card, or PayPal account, or standing order from your bank. Lessons are taken on a Pay-As-You-Go basis at £30 per hour. This can be paid by cash/cheque, by phone, bank transfer, or credit/debit card. Payment is due on the day of the lesson. If preferred, you have the option to pre-pay a block of 10 lessons in advance for £270.

Fixed-length Courses

Sign up for a specific duration (one month or three months) and receive a discount for committing to a block of lessons.

The options are Mini Course (one month) or Short Course (3 months).
