Monthly Jazz Jam
Take part or watch – relaxed lunchtime jazz session
The session kicks off with a live set from an established jazz band or artist, and is followed by the floor being opened for those that wish to jam (drums provided).
If you’re not yet quite at the place where you’re confident or ready to get up and jam, then it’s also a very pleasant way to spend a few hours with some great music, meet new people, enjoy some food and drinks.
The jazz jam is on the last Sunday of every month and is free to all musicians wishing to take part. The vast majority of the events are free to non-participants too (passers-by, music lovers, parents, etc). However, occasionally, in the most popular months where numbers need to be limited then it is wise to sign up in advance and there may be a small £5 charge for audience members not taking part in the jam.
