Will Connor
Will began playing drums at the age of nine. He studied privately for eleven years before attending the Academy of Contemporary Music in 2003. He studied Performance and Drumming and attained the highest grade of Distinction. After leaving the Academy, Will went on to work with numerous bands and appeared on many studio recordings. He also began teaching drums and quickly became a popular drum teacher.
In 2004, Will co-founded a music production company and built up an impressive list of media and music clients, writing and producing original music for film, TV and advertising agencies. Will turned his attention back to music teaching and live performance at the beginning of 2007. He is currently working on writing tuition material, including an instructional DVD and book.
Will is a dynamic and expressive drummer, who likes to combine elements of many styles of music. His teaching reflects his multi-discipline approach and he encourages improvisation and experimentation to help his students unlock their creativity.
Daniel Peranic
Dan studied at Drumtech in London where he won the coveted Top Performer award. He has appeared on the CD cover Rhythm Magazine and his work to date includes Atlantic records, Interscope records, TV adverts and appearances on various shows.
His teaching is focussed on performance and developing musicality via creative use of drumming technique and stylistic diversity. As well as teaching, Dan is currently working with the band Flash Fiktion.
Dan has extensive experience working with various producers and management companies, such as Lee Hirons (U2, REM), Lexx (Gwen Stefani, Madonna), Air management (Jamie Cullum), Gordon Rafael (The Strokes), CEC Management (Friendly Fires, Tricky) and many more.
Marco Quarantotto
In 1999 Marco enrolled at the famed Jazz department of the University for Music and Dramatic Arts in Graz, Austria and graduated in 2006 with a Master Degree (MMus) in Jazz drums and Percussion. Whilst there he had the opportunity to study with some of the greatest drummers of the genre: Billy Hart, Jimmy Cobb, Alex Deutch, Howard Curtis and Joe La Barbera to name a few.
Marco has toured all across Europe with a great number of projects, bands and acclaimed artists in Pop, Rock, Jazz and experimental music while taking part and performing in Theatre productions in Italy, Austria and Croatia as well as being highly active as a studio-session musician recording 15 albums to this day.
Andy Burt
Andy has taken many students through grades and to performance level establishing himself as a dynamic musician and drum tutor. He spent 6 years on the road with UK Blues/Rock Guitarist Danny Bryant (EMI) and has since appeared in music videos and national TV with various Urban artists.
As a founder of Zigaban collaborative with Elephant Drums, Andy also organises drumming bootcamps and interactive percussive group events whilst teaching groove-based drum kit. Andy’s drumming style embraces modern contemporary genres, through Soul, Hip-Hop to modern RnB.
