Elephant Drums gives away a number of free drum lessons per year to benefit worthy causes and to help raise money for local charities.
These lessons are usually donated in the form of a gift voucher pack so that the winners can choose a date to begin their drum lessons when it suits them.
Drum lessons are a creative, fun, interesting and unusual competition prize.
Free drum lessons
Free drum lessons are treated exactly the same as paid lessons, and are full private 1-to-1 drum sessions at our studios. The winners of the free lessons don't need to have a drum kit at home and they don't need any previous experience with drumming.
Prize giveaways
Elephant Drums is pleased to support local charities and other good causes. We have provided free drum lessons as prize giveaways for charity auctions, raffles and tombolas.
How it works:
We'll give a voucher for drum lessons (worth a face value of at least £45) to your charity or organisation which you can use as a prize in your charity tombola or raffle or other type of prize draw competition. We will allocate an extended period of time for the winner to redeem their lessons (usually a whole year). Full details about how the winner books a time and date for their free drum lesson is included in the voucher pack.
Competitions
Occasionally we will provide free drum lesson vouchers to companies to use as a competition prize. The criteria for companies or organisations requesting free drum lesson vouchers is that they are London-based or the competition target audience is located in London and the competition that they are running is directly relevant to music, drumming, or education in general. Our drum lesson vouchers may be bundled with other prizes donated by other providers.

Notes for people requesting free drum lessons:
- Write us an email in the first instance introducing your company or charitable cause.
- Please explain the nature of your competition or prize draw - e.g. when will it take place, how many entrants are expected, what are the other prizes?
- Include details of previous events or competitions you have run in the past.
- If we can provide a prize for your competition then we will agree the details by email as soon as possible, but we will usually not be able to send the actual prize to the organiser until 1 week prior to the event.
- Let us know what publicity material is going to be associated with your event.
