No drum kit? No problem!
There are a range of options for learners who don't have a drum kit at home. We are adaptable and we know how to provide lessons remotely to match each individual learner's requirements and what equipment they have available.
For example;
- Advice on getting a home kit if you're looking to buy one,
- Creative learning methods for people without drums,
- Practice pad sessions, rudiments and stick control,
- Music theory, transcription and ear training lessons,
- Hand percussion and household objects that can be turned into drums.
If in doubt whether you can have remote lessons with the equipment that you have got, please contact us to tell us about your situation.

Online lessons can be done using practice pads, cushions, electronic or acoustic drums. We have even had a couple of people build their own drum kits from household objects and using materials found in their recycling!
All we need to know is:
- When would you like to arrange a setup session?
- What equipment have you got at home?
- Have you got Zoom or MS Teams? (it’s easy to set up if you haven’t already)
