Drummers' Film Club

Every few months, a group of Elephant Drums members get together for a screening of a film involving drums, drummers or music in general. It is a great way to relax and socialise with other drummers learning drums. The screenings usually involve a visit to the cinema bar or a nearby pub before or after, depending on the time of the showing. Occasionally, film club members host a film screening at one of their houses.
This winter is a busy time for the film club with lots to see at the annual London Doc 'n Roll Festival showing a host of film premieres of the best music documentaries from around the world. We are also heading to a screening of the music movie of the year - Bohemian Rhapsody (the biopic about Freddie Mercury and Queen).

Doc 'n Roll Festival
Returning for its fifth year, London's Doc 'n Roll Festival presents fascinating and compelling music documentary films - most of them World, UK or London premieres.
This year’s London Doc‘n Roll Festival features multiple Q&A sessions with directors and other key players, across ten London venues.

Our Film Screening:
Elephant Drums - Drum Pass Members
We're arranging which film(s) we're going to see, depending on everyone's preferences and availability.
If you're a Drum Pass member please let us know which film you are most interested in going to see so we can organise the group tickets to the screening.
As is customary, we'll head to the pub afterwards and make it an Elephant Drums social event.
