DrumScreen

A group of drummers from Elephant Drums organises screenings of films and documentaries that centre around drums, drummers, and the world of drumming. The DrumScreen Film Club includes tutors, learners, and their guests, who share a love for both drumming and cinema. Before or after the screenings, depending on showtime, members often head to a nearby cafe or pub to chat about the film and all things drumming.
While DrumScreen celebrates lesser-known, niche films dedicated to drumming, they also make it a point to arrange cinema outings for the bigger releases. Films like Whiplash, Bohemian Rhapsody, and Birdman have drawn broader interest, captivating audiences with intense musical performances and stories that resonate with drummers and non-drummers alike.
