Learn To Play Day 2026

Learn To Play Day offers a fantastic opportunity for aspiring and returning drummers to discover the joy of playing, with welcoming experiences designed for all ages, abilities and skill levels.

10 October 2026

Learn To Play Day celebrates the transformative benefits of making music by offering free lessons and musical experiences for people of all ages and abilities.

The initiative brings together community groups, music retailers, teachers and educational organisations to help people discover or return to music-making.

Music For All supports individuals and communities by providing access to musical instruments, lessons and opportunities to take part.

Through these experiences, Learn To Play Day makes music accessible and encourages people from all backgrounds to enjoy the benefits of playing music.
