Harrison Moore

Harrison MooreBorn and raised in the north west of England, Harrison picked up the sticks aged 7. He was surrounded by a very musical family whose invaluable experience helped develop his musicality.

Harrison developed his skills in big band drumming, and honed his technique in the drum corps. Harrison studied Music Performance and Production at the London Centre of Contemporary Music, and graduated in 2016. He gained world class tutorship in many different areas of music, from the likes of Richard Brook, Pete Cater, Bryan McLellen, Dave O’Higgins, Simon Wallace, Roland Perrin, and many more. Throughout his time in London, Harrison has played for the likes of Joe Jury, Andro (Jungle), Marcus Malone, and has worked across numerous venues from the Royal Albert Hall to the London Palladium.

Harrison has a passion for teaching and sharing knowledge and has been teaching for the past 10 years at various institutions and privately. He understands that all students have unique ways of learning and have different goals that they wish to achieve. Students always make great improvements, yet have lots of fun under Harrison’s guidance and tutorship.

Location

Harrison teaches at Star Lane in a purpose-built drum tuition studio. The studio is part of a complex of other music and artistic studios, with on-site cafe for refreshments. It is located very close to Star Lane DLR station in the heart of East London with excellent links to the rest of the city.
