Vito Guerrieri is a professional drummer and dedicated drum tutor with more than 25 years of experience across live performance, theatre, studio recording and music education.
Originally from Turin, Italy, Vito studied at the well-known CPM Music Institute in Milan, developing a broad musical foundation across rock, pop, funk, hip hop and contemporary drumming. Since moving to London more than a decade ago, he has continued to work as a performing musician, including musical theatre shows, national tours, studio sessions and live performances with a wide range of artists.
Alongside his work as a performer, Vito has extensive teaching experience and enjoys sharing his knowledge with learners from many different musical backgrounds, including complete beginners. His lessons are tailored to each student’s goals, experience and musical interests, helping drummers build confidence, technique, groove, reading skills and a stronger understanding of the instrument.
Vito has also worked as a demonstrator and clinician, and has written as a columnist, drum method reviewer and interviewer for the Italian drum magazine Drum Club.
